A beautiful swimming pool (7x14) is set in the farmhouse gardens, which have a spectacular  panoramic view of Cortona and the surrounding countryside of olive groves and vineyards, seasonal crops of wheat, sunflowers, barley etc.

Available for guests are ping pong, trekking, mountain bikes, volley-ball and a mini football pitch.

Riding school, approx. 5 km, for rides in the countryside, through woods, olive groves, vineyards and fields. A lake for fishing approx. 1 km.  Golf course approx. 8 km. Lake Trasimeno approx. 20 km where it is also possibile to swim.

The beautiful Etruscan town of Cortona, approx. 8 km, encircled by its ancient walls, offers fine museums, art treasures, and charming medieval streets and alleys.

The sanctuary of the patron saint of Cortona, St. Margherita, and the massive Medici fortress, approx. 9 km, both situated above the town, with splendid views over the magnificent Valdichiana below.

Visits can be taken in the neighbourhood to see Le Giare’s farm, with livestock typical of the area, and the farmyard with rabbits, chickens, geese, ducks etc.

Visits to the traditional ‘Leopoldine’ farmhouses, and to the winecellars at Manzano.

Visit and tasting of typical local products: cheese, vin santo, cakes and biscuits, jams, oil, sausages, salami, local meat etc.
